THE REAL KATAANG STORY PART 1
Aang and Katara sat outside on the balcony as the moon glowed with
gloriousness.
"Is Gyasto in bed yet, Katara?"
"Yes. He sure was tired. I still can't believe he's mastering airbending faster than waterbending."
"I know. It's in his blood." Aang looked down at the floor of the balcony.
"What's on your mind?"
"I have a feeling that Sokka is going to ask us over for dinner again."
"You think so?" After Katara's words, Sokka opened up the balcony curtains.
"Hello, sister and brother-in-law."
"What is it now, Sokka? Are you going to ask us over for dinner?"
"In fact, I was going to Aang." Aang sighed and looked at Katara with a pain in his eyes.
"So, you two? Will you join us for dinner tomorrow night?"
"Fine."
"Okay, it's settled then. Tomorrow at sunset. Oh, and by the way Aang, Gyatso's awake."
Sokka moved to reveal a 9 year old boy rubbing his eye.
"Father, I couldn't sleep."
"Come here, Son." Gyatso jumped onto Aang's lap and put his head on his chest.
"I better be going then." Sokka left the balcony.
"What did Uncle Sokka want, Father?"
"Just another invite to his house. for supper tomorrow."
"What?! Not after the time he burned the fish!"
"We will live. Right Aang?"
"Huh? Oh, yes. (sigh) Your mother is right, Gyatso." Aang and Katara heard a soft stepping noise so he looked up to see Mai-jing standing on the balcony with a little stuffed lemur and a small blanket.
"Momma, was Uncle Sokky here?"
"Yes, Hun."
Mai-jing ran to her mom and jumped onto her lap while sucking her thumb.
"Are any of your siblings awake?"
"No. Yangchen and Kuzon are still asleep."
" I'll go check on them." Aang put Gyatso down and left the balcony.
"Why was Uncle Sokky here, Bruder?"
"Another invite to dinner."
"Oh." Mai-jing released her thumb.
"I'll go check on your dad." Katara let go of Mai-jing and ran to her HUSBAND. 10 minutes later, Mai-jing and Gyatso were becoming bored just sitting on the balcony.
"Let's go check on them, Mai-jing." Mai-jing followed her older brother to their siblings' rooms. When they entered Kuzon's room, they saw their parents kissing.
"Dad!!" Gyatso shouted while closing his younger sister's eyes with his palms.
"We're married, Hun." Katara wrapped her arms around Aang.
"What's going on?" Kuzon questioned with a yawn.
"Nothing, Dear."
"Go back to sleep, Kuzin. You both too!"
Gyatso and Mai-jing went to their rooms. Aang and Katara continued where they had left off.
The next morning arrived and Aang and his family were fast asleep. But all won't be well for long.
"Oh, my gosh! What time is it!?" Aang yelled outside the window.
"What's wrong, Baby?"
"Sokka's dinner!"
"It's only the morning."
"Oh. I slept good last night."
"I'm glad you did." Aang slid back into bed.
"Well, I hope the kids slept well too." After Aang's words, Gyatso, Yangchen, Kuzon, and Mai-jing jumped onto Aang and Katara's bed.
" No! Stop, down now!"
"Aang! Calm down."
"Katara hunny, they always do this!"
"Play with us, Daddy!" The four children taunted.
"No, not now." Aang pulled his pillow over his head.
"It's okay, babies. Let your father sleep. He's tired." Katara took the kids out of the room. Aang couldn't sleep. He kept thinking about Sokka's last guest dinner. What he really hated the most......the burned fish.
"The taste of that fish.....ugh."
Aang got out of bed. A gust of wind blew onto his back. His tanned torso
showed for he had no shirt on. He sighed and looked up at his head. He searched for his razor, but couldn't find it.
"Katara?"
"Yes, Hun?!"
"Where's my razor?!"
" I don't know!"
"Ohhhh!" Since he couldn't find his razor after 30 minutes of searching, he got dressed. After he brushed his teeth, he heard a series of little roars. He looked outside to see Appa and Abby (Katara's bison) with a crew of little bisons.
